Deep in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas, locals have been describing the same creature for centuries: bear-sized, black-furred, glowing red eyes, and horns that have no business being on anything that moves like that. Daniel Boone reportedly encountered it. Hunters, hikers, and residents still report it today. The Ozarks don't give up their secrets easily, and the Howler is the oldest one they're keeping.
